Tanabe Concept G Review

I've had my Tanabe Concept G exhaust on my car for about 3 months now and it's about time I wrote a short review.

Straight from the box the exhaust shows it's quality with shiny stainless steel and high quality welds.

Install is a breeze and the flanges work very well with the existing hangers. The hardest thing about install was taking off the old exhaust.

Sound & Performance:

I picked this exhaust because I wanted something quiet at idle, but loud when I wanted to show off. The Tanabe Concept G exceeded by expectations in both areas. The idle is deep enough to sound different than stock, but maintain very low decibels. Sitting in the cabin it sounds identical to stock when idle.

When driving underload, the exhaust picks up it's deep aggressive tone without being annoying or farty. Just the right tone to sound tuned, without screaming, "hey! I'm a tuner!!"

Anyone looking to gain a little extra torque will be pleased. The difference in stock to Tanabe Concept G is noticeable. Any axleback will achieve this, but it's the steathly idle that really takes the cake for Tanabe.

If you're looking for a high quality exhaust that isn't loud or annoying, this is the choice for you.

I just want to make sure that I don't get annoyed with a loud exhaust within the first 2 weeks. I hope the Tanabe Concept G doesn't. It looks pretty big, I don't see how in the world it could be decently quiet haha
