ScionSteve615 Reg'd: Feb 05, 2008 Window Washer	ne 1 have this noise while thier driving at a slow speed, i got my 08 tc in february & i jus heard afew days ago whiloe i had my stereo turned down, i cant figure out where its coming from, it cant be nothing major, i have an auto too jus wanted to know ig ne had a similiar noise? thanx

Web Reg'd: Apr 17, 2006 THE SHADOW	Yup, it's the actual design of the throttle body plate and butterfly. The way it allows air to pass the butterfly makes it whistle at certain rpms. Nothing wrong with the car. I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. A.E.

LorainTC05 Reg'd: Dec 02, 2007 Tire Changer	Yeah I have an Injen CAI and I have people asking me if its turbo all the time, then when i tell them no(which really sucks) they insist it has to be because they heard it wistle.

zima011yu Reg'd: Apr 09, 2008 Window Washer	Guys, thank you! Now I can sleep easier. I have just installed Fujita Air intake today and I heard the same whistling noise at low rpms (usually when I press the gas pedal slightly). I kind of got worried since I thought I did something wrong during the installation (even thought I know I followed all steps correctly). Again, it makes sense what you have explained. Right on! Peace... Zima A car is good reflection of its owner’s personality.

zima011yu Reg'd: Apr 09, 2008 Window Washer	Absolutely, turbo sounds completely different. When I first installed Fujita I kind of suspected that the throttle body butterfly was making that sound at low rmps. However, I was concerned if something was obstructing the airflow which kind of freaked me out. I got used to the sound, and right now I need to say I really like it! I would highly recommend Fujita very much to whoever is interested adding an intake for any kind of Japanese vehicle. A car is good reflection of its owner’s personality.
