 It's come to my attention that there have been a few times on this site where some threads have been posted linking users to other sites to purchase items. Now, depending on the site, this is ok BUT...sites such as Craig's List or Postaroo are not viable sites to post and/or purchase from.

Vending sites such as Ebay are ok due to the fact that the seller's/buyer's identity is kept hidden until the actual time of sale and even then, it is not completely undisclosed to either party. This site and the moderators that monitor its happenings are here to help every user have a pleasent experience and be able to have an online community of relative trust (I say relative b/c it IS the Internet) and comfort.

For everyone's enjoyment of the site, please make sure that the site you post follows at a MINIMUM, these 3 statutes:

1)Protective of both seller/buyer personal information

2)Relatively known amongst the online community and not just 1 or 2 people

3)Has contact numbers/emails that are accessible to all users and actually have customer service representatives on the other end of the call/email address


If we all follow these 3 guidelines, we can have a bit of comfort in the links we choose to purchase from on this site.

Good Info Web, this should help, As Moderators we don't want to see other users loose there money because of a untrusted user this is why we have these selling rule's not that we don't trust you but were wanting to keep things running safe so no one end's up getting the raw end of the deal.

although it may seem like moderators are being post Nazi's when we lock your thread or delete it, we do this to protect the users of this site from spam and post abuse

there are some users that create an account in 20 seconds and create a post to see and disappear as soon as they've created the post

this problem will be eliminated with the future site as it will be much hard to register quickly

posting links to unknown sites or classified ads, gives way to spam and unwanted soliciation

in the meantime please follow guidelines when it comes to posting a sale
