hey guys so something that i know absolutely nothing about lol
i tried reading orin and webs threads with info but my brain started to hurt haha
anywho... i want a good performance CAI but nothing too expensive
i dunno wats out there thou besides injen so i dont really know what im looking for..
HELP?

the Injen provides better gains, and is it a CAI. it is an overall better intake system.
the K&N is just like the stock air box with a better filter and better piping.
if i were living in Cali, i would get the Injen and tell the 5-0 to piss off.

the K&N isnt just as filter though, its got new piping, and a new filter, and a new box. its esentially the stock intake with: new box, new filter, and new piping.

yea i plan on getting the injen before too long. All you need is to be friends with the guy at the SMOG shop, and just try not to get pulled over. Ive never had a cop tell me to pop my hood tho, so i wouldn't worry about that.
personally i think the injen intake is one of the best on the market.

Yes go Injen!. I live in cali and if your going to mod your car performance wise anything you do will basicaly not be legal. Get injen and save your stock one when you go for your smog check just put the stock one back. Here i just posted a a video of the intake Injen intake video
You can really tell the difference from the stock one in the sound it makes. i love it and it is really easy to install.

i'd go with fujita for 150, can't be that price...i'd save 100+ bucks and give up probably 1-2hp....either way you win any races cuz you went with fujita instead of intake.

Injen is the number one CAI. Although, it is not CARB legal, with no no other noticeable mods it won't be a problem. Get an exhaust and headers and it might become an issue.

I got fujita i like it a lot my dad got the weapon r short ram and likes it too but i dont think you can feel too much of a difference between any of the intakes they just sound nice

150 is a good deal for a fujita and install would be an easier install than the injen... go for it tiffy

I am glad I don't live in Cali anymore. The Injen is a non-issue here in AZ. I have one and love it! WHOOOOSH!

If u wanna go CARB, the AEM is supposed to be legal now, I know its not Injen, but if u dont care for dealin' w/ 5-0, go AEM.
